Wednesday Evening Life Drawing; Hands

This time, the other half of the group got to take their time and get stuck in.
Usually the hands.... often the most intricate and difficult part to tackle, are also the smallest in the picture.

Here the students have used the opportunity to examine, mark make and make fabulous, huge drawings. 

Hands

We took the opportunity last week to really look closely at drawing hands. The first hour was spent on gestural poses, thinking about form, or mass or shadow, the dynamic and emphasis...mark making.... in fact all the aspects we look at when exploring the whole form..
Then a good hour on the large drawings...
I think they are spectacular... well done guys!
